Hypnosis to stop eating sweets, crisps, cakes and biscuits.

On the subject unhealthy foods, we are now confronted with a remarkable range of choice. Advertisements for it abound; any time you switch on the telly, or wait at the bus stop, and even if you manage to avoid these, there is ordinarily a shelf of tempting sweets awaiting you when you get to the supermarket till. For many people these treats are easily disregarded, yet for others it can result in an awful battle in the mind.

Individuals who struggle with addictive snacking or comfort eating are typically not granted the same sort of consideration or understanding as individuals who fight with other addictive habits, like for example smokers or drinkers. This judgement from others often makes problems even worse, which can result in diminished self-worth or thoughts of self-loathing.

hypnotherapy to lose weight

Never the less, people can in reality become addicted to snacks like for example crisps, cakes, sweets and biscuits just as an individual might become hooked on smoking cigarettes or drinking, and this is why men and women often cannot curb their behaviours by utilising sheer strength of mind alone.

Precisely why do lots of people comfort eat? Whenever someone feels lonely or anxious it is because there is a physical or emotional need not being met, it might be a need for security or a partner, there are many reasons, or it might be a physical need for more sleep, exercise or sunlight. our bodies do not tell us what it is we need. Se we may tend to mask our feelings with sugary foods because for a short time whilst eating that food we don’t feel uncomfortable feelings. The rise in our blood sugar levels can for a short while mask them. But the good feeling often does not last for long and instead of feeling comforted we may feel guilty and angry.

It’s usually regular for individuals to encourage good habits in kids with goodies or sugary sweets. Sometimes these types of food will also be used as a means of cheering up a child who is feeling low, or by the parent to ‘make up’ for something bad that has happened (“I’m sorry I missed your football match; let’s buy some sweets on the way home”). These types of patterns from the parent could then become internal thinking patterns, creating junk food being connected with feeling good, because of this the next time we feel bad about something we may require these junk foods.

With hypnosis, you can learn to respond to your emotions positively so you can  stop eating those sugary foods that are not good for you.
